Welcome! And welcome back to the thirty-day yoga challenge. It’s great to see you! I am excited to continue our amazing journey together. Hop on to something comfortable and let’s get started.

I know this yoga challenge started in May, over two and a half months ago. Look, we all miss a day or two every now and then — and sometimes we miss entire months at a time. It’s been eleven weeks and I’ve done yoga eight times. But do not worry! The important thing is that you are here today.

We’ll start with a nice, comfortable sitting position. Gently place your hands on the knees or thighs as you lengthen through the spine. Inhale deeply while showing your gratitude for getting back into yoga. I know, you got busy with work, and then your parents were visiting from New Jersey, and then the NBA playoffs happened. One day, I carried two boxes of old clothes from my basement and thought that was basically three days of yoga. It doesn’t happen, and I’ve still only completed eight days of actual yoga. But what matters is that you came here today. I am very happy to see you.

Note your breath as you move into a tabletop position. Let breathing be your guide as you gently move your hips in a small circle in a clockwise direction. Then vice versa, just stretch through your palms, fingers, wrists and arms. Draw the navel up to the spine to lengthen the lower back – or if that’s too hard, don’t. Be gentle with yourself. believe in yourself. The most important thing is to do what is good for you, even if doing what is good is thirty minutes of savasana followed by sixty-six days.

Now spread the fingertips wide. Go wider if you can! Your wrists are under your shoulders as you apply pressure to the tops of your feet. Feel the flexibility of your lumbar spine when you consider the flexibility of your schedule, which you have the option to tighten. Only if you want – I just put that out there.

Now, plant your palm and return to the downward-facing dog. You should feel this gently stretching the same muscles we’ve already worked a few times, but if for some reason you’re out of practice, you can just skip this step and meet us again at Uttanasana. Or, if you feel like you really need a break, you can just skip the uttanasana and rest for a while. take your time. If you take a break and eat a whole chocolate babka yourself is how you feel right now, you can turn off the video and meet me again when you’re ready. This Ninety Dollar Yoga Mat and I’ll be right here, waiting for you to restart your unique and wonderful journey.

Welcome! It’s great to see you again. If you were just joining us on day ninety nine of our thirty day yoga challenge, I’m so glad you’re back. I’ve still only completed eight and a half sessions, and that babka was wrong, but what matters is that you take the time to love yourself as you are. Let’s bring the body into the plank position. Lower your knees here if you like. or not do. Is this really a lot? I’d prefer if you didn’t stop to check out Twitter now, but if you need to take some time to scroll through your DMs, I’m for you. Even attending a minute of class is valuable.

Oh, wow! Hello! It’s great to see you again on the 127th day of the daily yoga month. Who knows – one of us might die before we’re done with this thing! It’s probably you, though, because I’ve been doing yoga every single day.

Now, before you take another break to watch Conan O’Brien clips from the early 2000s, stay with me here and stay strong. From the dog facing down, step into a seated position. Sit nice and tall here and find your way to stillness. With that, another day of our challenge is completed. What a full day (or days) exercise! Take a moment to appreciate yourself and all that you deserve. I can’t wait to see you again in six weeks ♦
