SACRAMENTO, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–M Corp has hired seasoned salesman Bill Cody to serve as Director of Sales for Professional Services. Cody has over 30 years of IT experience, representing major hardware, software, services, security and cloud brands.

“Bill has a proven track record of success. We are excited to have him join our team as M Corp pushes the boundaries beyond risky and outdated models into modern digital services,” said M Corp CEO Alex Castro. “By focusing on data-driven results rather than legacy, code-heavy system upgrades, we’re elevating a paradigm that puts our customers on the brink.”

With over 30 years of experience in leadership positions in the technology industry, Cody has built sales teams and represented some of the world’s most recognized brands such as Symantec, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, ServiceNow, Splunk, VMWare and Delphix. Much of his career has focused on California state government, where he worked on emerging and disruptive technologies and how to achieve better results for the public sector.

“I look forward to working with the M Corp team to deliver innovative products like ReM Score and MissionNXT that will help our clients succeed and forever change the way agencies approach complex digital service projects,” said Cody said. “After spending the past five years providing technology solutions to state governments across the western United States, I’m excited to once again focus on the state of California.”

As Director of Sales for the Professional Services Division, Cody will lead sales for new and existing clients of the firm’s consulting practice. Launched almost 20 years ago, M Corp has earned respect in a highly competitive field among international companies. Senior Vice President Tom Larson leads the division with many long-time California state agency clients.

This spring, M Corp announced that its growing team of more than 200 associates had officially created a new division dedicated to transformative products “as a service”. The suite of solutions, including the company’s flagship enterprise readiness assessment product, ReM Score, is the result of the company’s 19 years of experience in the retrofit industry, as well as research on what brings – and does not – bring organizations closer to achieving their mission. and vision.

Recently launched, MissionNXT enables programs to deliver personalized digital services to voters without having to oversee large projects, capture and manage data, or worry about going over budget. It is a subscription-based service that frees program staff from the burden of manual data collection and elevates them to focus on mission-based work.

M Corp argues that the industry is due for disruption and that a fully modern approach is needed to fuel customers’ modernization ambitions. And while the not-so-simple act of implementing a new system may look like progress from the outside, it often fails to advance an organization’s strategic agenda and instead perpetuates the cycle of technical debt. With a clear intention to reject this model, M Corp’s new approach changes everything.
